Prior to the digital era, this was Enemalta’s control room.
This industrial equipment was used to regulate both the electricity generating units and the distribution feeder system directly linked to Marsa Power Station.
This control room started to operate from the “B” Station of Marsa in 1966.
Presently, Enemalta has two state of the art control rooms equipped with the latest technology.
The distribution system is controlled and managed from the Network Control Room situated in Enemalta’s administrative building in Marsa, while through the Central Control Room in Delimara, Enemalta Engineers plan to dispatch the usage from the various electricity generation sources.
