Last Friday 29th January, Enemalta organized a ceremony in honor of its 2009 retired employees. The Corporation thanked the 35 retirees for more than 1040 years of service. Introducing the ceremony, Chief of Human Resources, Anthony Bonello, engaged the participants to share their stories and experiences within the Corporation, while speakers from various institutions where invited to provide information about the U3E (University of the Third age), social services and voluntary work.
Each retiree was presented with a certificate of service, a personalized plaque and a gift, by Enemalta’s Chairman Alex J. Tranter and Enemalta’s Chief Executive Officer Ing. Karl Camilleri. Refreshments followed and the attendees had a chance to socialize and share some of their thoughts; Mr Vella, who worked in the Workshop for 27 years, said he was thankful for his work with the Corporation as it gave him the opportunity to provide for his family, and after 19 years of service Mr Zammit said he was happy to retire as a senior, and is proud to have advanced his career within the Corporation.
Enemalta would like to thank all the retirees for their dedicated and professional service, and wishes them all the best for their golden years.
